Bullfrogs gloam

of the curlew

Light pumped head
Drained fading point
Tree crown hoar
Pierced by the shriek

back at the camp
heart slows down
back with the guys
I met in town

Outside of the black
Edge of the fire
Outside of the ring
Mass the chirping hymn
